Technic Appoints Greg Mitchell as Business Manager for Asian Operations
Cranston, Rhode Island, USA – Technic Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Greg Mitchell as the Business Manager for Asian Operations. In his new role, Greg will be responsible for driving organic regional growth, developing key account strategies, managing the Singapore facility, overseeing the supply chain, and leading personnel management within the Asia-Pacific business unit.
Greg's professional background includes extensive experience at DuPont, where he served as Global EIF Segment Leader. He managed Electronic and Industrial (EIF) Plating products, led a team across five countries, and launched next-generation Silver and Tin products. As the Global Product Line Leader for Metallization, Greg led product management and new product development for metallization products in PWB and Industrial applications, resulting in significant revenue growth.
During his tenure at The Chemours Company, Greg served as the Coatings Segment Manager for the Asia Pacific region. He developed marketing strategies for Ti-Pure™ TiO2 white pigment and promoted Ti-Pure™ and Teflon™ brands, leading to significant revenue and royalties. He also coordinated application development projects for plastics and coatings segments as the Asia Pacific Technical Marketing Manager.
Greg holds a PhD in Organometallic Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, and was a Postdoctoral Associate at Northwestern University.
Greg’s extensive experience in product lifecycle management, business planning, product development, and various technical roles, combined with his strong leadership skills, will be instrumental in driving the growth and success of Technic's Asian operations.
