Etchants for Industrial Surface Finishing Applications
Technic offers an extensive selection of etchants for industrial surface finishing applications. Etchants are utilized in the pretreatment phase to etch the metal surface, thus removing the first thin layer of metal or oxide and rust on the surface. This removal prepares the base metal for coating. Etchants are also applied as a final finish to brighten the metal (typically brass).
