Boron-Free Nickel Plating Process for Electronics Plating
Technic introduces the industry’s first boron-free nickel plating process for electronics plating applications, Goldeneye Nickel BF. Goldeneye Nickel BF has significantly altered the electronics plating industry, using a revolutionary new buffering agent which is completely free of all boron compounds for use exclusively in the Goldeneye Nickel process.
In Europe, boric acid is classified as a REPROTOXIC SUBSTANCE – H360FD and a “Substance of Very High Concern” (SVHC) which is currently on the “candidate list for authorization”. If boric acid is eventually included in the Authorization List, its use and supply may be severely restricted or banned entirely.
