Technic to Exhibit at Electronica in Munich, Germany
Electronica celebrated its premiere in 1964 as the first trade fair in Germany devoted solely to electronic components, and it has been accompanying innovations in the international electronics industry every two years for six decades. Taking place from November 12-15, Electronica will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2024, occupying all 18 exhibition halls for the first time.
The focus this year will be on the future vision of an All Electric Society (AES), which envisions a world where all energy needs are met by CO2-neutral electricity, electric vehicles dominate the roads, and smart grids optimize energy supply.
With more than 2,800 expected exhibitors and around 70,000 visitors from all over the world, Electronica is the most important meeting place and source of inspiration for the international electronics industry.
Technic will showcase advanced chemistry solutions for electronic finishing, such as industry-leading electroplating processes for nickel, tin, copper and precious metals, designed to satisfy the most demanding end-user requirements. Technic's innovative finishing chemistry for connector applications are designed to reduce or replace gold usage, while enhancing environmental compatibility, operational safety and performance.
Techniphos 615, one of Technic's most recently developed products, is an electrolytic nickel/phosphorous (NiP) plating process that produces > 10 % phosphorous over a wide current density range. Unlike typical NiP processes that exhibit low phos content at high current densities, Techniphos 615 represents a truly unique formulation that outperforms anything currently available.
Technic's also offers an expanding range of chemical solutions in PCB manufacturing for technical aspects like zero defects, high aspect ratios, blind micro vias, high Tg material, fine pitch devices, and high temperature processing. Technic's advanced PCB fabrication and packaging chemistries are engineered to reduce environmental footprints through on-site reclaim of metals, as well as the use of concentrates, lead-free final finishes and biodegradable products.
Technic’s Circudep Black Knight is a proprietary colloidal graphite process, designed to transform dielectric materials into conductive surfaces for efficient, subsequent copper plating. Circudep Black Knight addresses stability and coverage concerns associated with older direct metallization processes, marking a true advancement in electroless copper replacement. By enhancing reliability for critical applications, this innovative solution simultaneously streamlines processes, resulting in significant cost reduction.
Technic's participation in Electronica underscores its commitment to staying at the forefront of electronics technology and innovation.
