Technic Appoints Dennis Chan as Business Strategy Director for TCHK
Hong Kong - Technic is pleased to announce the appointment of Dennis Chan as Business Strategy Director for Technic China/Hong Kong. In this role, Dennis will be responsible for spearheading business development initiatives and overseeing operations management to drive the company’s growth and operational excellence.
With a robust background in strategic planning and management, Dennis brings a wealth of experience to Technic. His focus will be on enhancing business development processes and optimizing operational efficiencies, ensuring that Technic China/Hong Kong continues to deliver top-tier products and services to its clients.
Dennis Chan's career spans numerous key positions and achievements. As an R&D professional, he has extensive experience in advancing product innovations from conception to commercialization. He has previously served in significant roles including Global Technology Leader at DuPont, where he facilitated the relocation of metallization technology centers, coached new technology leaders, and managed global R&D teams. Dennis has also worked as an R&D Manager at Dow Chemical, overseeing cross-functional teams and leading product development and intellectual property efforts. His earlier roles include Principal Scientist at Dow Chemical, and Technologist and Senior Chemist at Rohm and Haas.
Dennis Chan's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy, Master of Philosophy, and Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Technology from the City University of Hong Kong. He has also undergone extensive professional development through leadership training programs at DuPont, Dow Chemicals, and RHEM.
