Technic France – Technic R&D SEC is delighted to announce the return of Dr. Marie-Claire Pignié, a highly accomplished scientist, to our dynamic team. With her extensive background in chemistry and physical science, Dr. Pignié brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to further enhance our capabilities.
Dr. Pignié's academic journey is marked by a commitment to excellence. She obtained a double degree from Chimie ParisTech in collaboration with Sorbonne University and expanded her horizons through internships at prestigious institutions, including the Max Planck Institute in Stuttgart, Germany, and the Reactor Institute at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.
Subsequently, Dr. Pignié earned her PhD in physical chemistry from the University Paris-Saclay at the Commissariat à l’Énergie Atomique et aux Énergies Alternatives (CEA Saclay). Her doctoral research was focused on unraveling the intricacies of charge separation induced by curvature in aluminosilicate nanotubes known as imogolites. Her specialization in clay materials, radiolysis, and semiconductor physics has positioned her as a leading expert in her field.
Marie-Claire's determination to understand mechanisms, explore computational techniques, and advance process assistance will contribute to setting and elevating wet surface preparation to a new pinnacle of performance.
